Fancy Brown Diamond Ring

The design of this ring draws inspiration from ancient Roman rings set with cushion-shaped gemstones, most commonly carnelians. Its form follows these historical precedents while replacing the original stone with a one-carat natural Fancy Brown diamond. Rather than reconstructing an ancient model, the project approaches it as a reinterpretation, preserving the essential character of the original form while translating it into a contemporary context.
