Emerald Ring

22K GOLD, NATURAL EMERALD, 2024

Emeralds originating from Colombia are distinguished by exceptional clarity and, above all, their characteristic, intensely saturated green known as MUZO green. In this project, the stone remains the principal focus, a quality underscored by the minimalist setting. The combination of a Colombian emerald with high-carat gold also alludes to the chromatic vocabulary of Spanish jewellery from the colonial period, merging historical reference with a contemporary aesthetic sensibility.
