This 22-carat gold pendant depicts an anthropomorphic sun motif formed using the repoussé technique. The facial features were inspired by a small Celtic sculpture representing a youth. The design refers to ancient conceptions of solar symbolism, in which the sun functioned as a sign of light, cyclicality and cosmic order.
