Contemporary Middle Ages Ring #2
22K GOLD, NATURAL DIAMOND, 2025
The choice of a point cut—an early form of diamond cutting—emphasises the central axis of the composition and lends the ring a historicising character. The stone setting recalls medieval and Renaissance jewellery forms, in which architectural detailing was intended to reflect cosmic order, and geometric clarity and structural definition were central to goldsmithing aesthetics. The design reinterprets these principles through a minimalist formal language, combining tradition with contemporary aesthetic sensitivity.
