Antiquities Collection

The collection of historic jewellery that I am developing constitutes a continually expanding body of objects with documented provenance, focused primarily on works originating from Europe and the Middle East. It comprises, among other objects, rings dating from antiquity to the first half of the nineteenth century, Georgian-period ornaments, Masonic jewellery, and other rare objects reaching back to the third millennium BCE. Through this collection, I aim to document the evolution of form, symbolism, and aesthetic conventions within the tradition of goldsmithing, with each object understood as a material record of craftsmanship and the cultural context of its period.
